I think maddogcycle is right. One cylinder is running rich and the other running lean. It seems as though they have not been balanced properly and the mixture not accurately adjusted. The settings on these carburettors are critical and must be adjusted with the proper gauges. I'd advise you to have the carbs cleaned and adjusted and tuned to the engine for balance of inducted air flow and fuel/air ratio (mixture)

You need to clean the carbs. The popping is from the low speed side of the carb it is running lean

Bacoccire when it star 2003 intruder lc

You may need your air filters changed and carbs adjusted. Aso this bike has sort of an afterburner unit which pops off unburned fuel in the exhaust. Some guys remove it and plug the lines.

My 1995 1400 intruder started popping ,cracking and back firing in both pipes someone told me i had a bad timing chain where can i find online the diagram to replace the timing chains myself

i took a look for you there really arent any diagrams online, the timing chain replacement on that engine is very difficult and requires a few special tools only available through Suzuki...your best bet is to buy the factory manual, and the tools. Doing it yourself will only save you about $200.00, because of the cost of the tools required

Does it smell rich like gas isn't being burnt and coming out the tail pipe? If so then it's probably the spark plugs. Actually I bet you any money it is. They're cheap and easy to replace, give it a try.

My suzuki intruder is missing backfiring on the

Did you sync the two carbs? If not the rear may be getting all the gas from the rear carb and none to the front. Twist throttle engine off and see if front carb cable is pulling the carb open.
Also unscrew the spark plug boot from the front spark plug wire and trim 1/8th inch off the wire and screw the boot back in. The plug wire end may be corroded on that wire.

Plugs are black aft.mrkt pipes bike runs good

Factory recommended plugs are the best. Ask your local dealer, and he will give you the correct plugs. If you are fouling plugs, look for a too rich mixture, or carbs flooding.

My suzuki 1400 intruder back fires

dont play with the valves it is unecessary, you would be better off checking your exhaust system to make sure it has no leaks,if gas can get out,air can get in this mixes with the unburnt fuel in the pipe and the heat from the next exhast stroke ignites this mixture causing a backfire,or option two is to check that the carbs are not out of balance and are running the correct miture or air/fuel ratio, this can be done with a set of carb balancers and a little bit of time and knowhow..hope this helps
