Hey - sorry to hear about the road rash- - crashed my bike some years ago and still have the scars to prove it . I hope you make a great recovery.
As for finding the bike part you need for cheap. You can start by Clicking here
go to that website -look around for your state - find the best city for you and join it FREE - then post an ad in the WANTED section and be sure to renew it about once a week. Change the wording - and try other large cities as well.
You can also put wanted ads on the local paper's online site usually for free. Be sure to call the local bike repair shops and also ask about a bike salvage company near you. Many times these guys can find deals for people like us. I just found [ on Craigslist ] a full set of wheels and tires to match - Good Years - for 50.00 - very nice deal. SO IT CAN HAPPEN. Please hang in there and scour the outlets and keep praying - it will happen within a few weeks or months but it will happen. Again I hope you're healing great.

Thanks to the expert who answered my Suzuki problem. But unfortunately my whole Speedometer assembly was destroyed and so I need a new speedo, plus housing (To keep it safe from the weather). Or... A great explanation of the wiring at the dashboard of my GSF 650 K5, as the plugs are all ripped off and now I only have raw wiring there.... Thanks a million guys...
