It has a duel braking system , which means when u apply the front brake it apply a quater of the force to the rear brake ,and like wise if u apply the rear brake it sends a quater of the force to the front brakes
No ...you have a rear brake pedal to control the rear brake and the front is controlled by a brake lever which supplies 3/4 of all stopping power. Dont ever slam down on the rear brake pedal just apply it gradually.

The rear brake has a pressure switch that turns the rear brake light on and off. If it's working correctly with the front brake, this switch is the first place I'd go to. Make sure the wires a firmly plugged onto it.
You can find the switch by following the metal line that comes out of the rear of the rear brake mastercylinder. It'll have two wires connected to it.
