I have a 2006 gsxr 600.The bike starts up and rides perfect. When I ride it hard on a long run the bike wants to shut off at the stop sign and red light. When it shuts off I got to hold the throttle when I start it to keep it crunk.I have been told that my bike does not have a carburator. The bike has 11,500 miles on it.My bike has fuel injection.

It has injectors.Does it display any "C" codes when you crank it up? Did you ever tinker any Fuel Injection modules or sensors? Have you inspected/ or visual checked or try to replaced your fuel filter?

Try cleaning the sparkplugs with emery paper lightly between electrodes. Replace with new ones if they are pitted or badly discoloured. Your Suzuki dealer will advise on correct heat range for sparkplugs. In the meantime set sparkplug gaps at 0.8mm.

You might have to go for a size larger pilot jet in the carburetors, again, ask your Suzuki dealer for this info, as local riding conditions will have a bearing on this choice for your type of bike. Goodluck.
Cheers.

If it's fuel injected it may have an idle air control valve or sometimes called an auxillary air valve, this is used to automaticly control the idle by giving more air to the engine to stabalize the idle speed under all or no loads.
