Try to look in the "parts list" pds. There is a section about the carburators, that should help. If you don`t find the pdf (it should be on the site you downloaded the Hayness manual), send me a mail to [email protected]

Tryin to conect 10-2 wire where does the black and white wire go.myou manuel does not explain it very well. Heater model #cz220

10-2 is for 220. White is neutral and black is power. You'll have to run a 10 gauge wire to the heater from your panel. Probably a good idea to hire an electrician as you make need to have a breaker added to your panel...could check/install if you need a wall thermostat. 220 is dangerous....

Where the fuel hoses go

If you have a petcock below the tank with a reserve switch, you should have two lines. The smaller one is a vacuum line that goes to the carbs. The other is the fuel line. The vacuum line is important, as without it the petcock will not flow fuel. The presence of a vacuum opens a pneumatically operated valve in the petcock allowing fuel to flow. There should be a nub on the middle of one of the carbs to connect the vacuum line to. The fuel line goes to a fuel rail that feeds all the carbs.

My 98 Deville will not stay started. I chafed the fuel filter and it ran find for 20 mins and now even putting gas in the intake will not keep it started and keep tryin to start it runs down the batti

sounds like a fuel pump pressure issue..need to pull the line up front and check for fuel pressure..replace the pump if bad, money an issue? get a junyard tank like I did,,35 bucks and put it on..also check the throttle body assembly for operation..should spray gas into the intake while cranking on it(in spurts) if not replace the tbi unit with a salvage part..repost please

My 95 7.3 turbo runs and idels good no miss but something is holdeing it back when u push the gas I have changed the fule filter and air

Here is what my Haynes Diesel Engine Repair Manual says for a noticeable lack of power, which is what you are describing.
1. Blocked air intake
2.Incorrectly adjusted timing
3.Blocked or damaged exhaust system
4.Obstruction in fuel filter
5.Blocked fuel tank vacuum vent in fuel cap
6.Insufficient fuel supply from tank to injector pump
7.Obstruction in fuel tank filter
8. Pinched or restricted fuel return line
9. Incorrect or contaminated fuel
10.External compression leaks ( glow plugs or injectors)
11. Obstruction in injector nozzles
12.Low compression
This book has an excellent diagnosis and repair section for your engine. It's Haynes part #10330 and costs about $20. Hope this helps.

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator has a broken diaphragm in it, or the fuel return line is restricted. The regulator is a silver thing on the fuel rail on the top of the engine, it has a vacuum line going to it. First make sure this line is not broken, if it is okay, use a hand vacuum pump to put vacuum on the regulator. The regulator should be able to hold vacuum, if not then you will need to replace it, if it does you will need to check the fuel return line for a kink or restriction.
