INSTALLED A DYNO JET KIT AND LOST 1/2 OF MY FUEL

AFTER 3" DOUBLE D'S AND K&N AIR FILTER I INSTALLED A DYNO JET KIT AND LOST 1/2 OF MY FUEL MILAGE. YES THE THROTTLE IS MORE RESPONSIVE, BUT IF I RIDE AS I NORMALLY USED TO, SHOULD I NOT GET AT LEAST THE SAME FUEL MILAGE OR CLOSE. (DROPPED FROM NEARLY 48 MPG TO 28)

1975 Honda Cb 400 F do you have to re-jet the carbs if you take out the baffles

the engine performs on what is going into the combustion cylinders and not what is going into the mufflers
you are hung up on the back pressure affecting combustion and air/fuel mixture
it will not air/fuel mixture but removing the baffles will affect back pressure ( which is very small in a motor bike to start with) but rest assured it will affect your wallet with excessive noise tickets from the local road authority
bike manufacturers engineer the exhaust systems for maximum performance and reliability from the engine and for any rider to believe that by removing baffles will improve that performance with out performing the resulting test on a dyno is just wasting money and kidding himself
noise is not performance , power or anything else
it is just noise
