How do i change oil and what parts do i need on my honda vtx 2006

When checking your oil on a Honda, be sure the cycle is upright and level. Insert the dipstick until it stops but do not screw it in. You can use any motorcycle oil that has the JASO MA rating. Other motorcycle brands with the JASO MA rating for transmission gears and wet clutches will work fine. If you would like to try an inexpensive oil, Shell Rotella T Sythetic 15w-40 sells for around $22 per gallon (a significant price savings over cycle brand oils) and can be purchased at Walmart and most auto stores. would like to chang the oil in the finaldrive, what oil should i replace it with???/

If you go to durantcycle.com and then online parts fiche then motorcycles then honda and the year and model then find the carbs there is a good diagram for the carb there from honda.
