You need to remove the starter and install a new set of brushes,do it soon because it will let you down when the final positive brush ceases to touch the armurature.

How to fix 2004 Suzuki 1600?

A few questions so I can help. Is this a Suzuki motorbike or a car? What EXACTLY does it do when you turn the key? How did you 'check for electric'? A vehicle battery should have between 12.6volts to 13.2 volts.
When you turn a starter motor over it needs a large amount of volts to power it, anything under 10 volts and it will struggle. Even a fully charged battery can struggle to turn a starter motor if it is old or faulty.
Try this. First look at the battery and check the terminals are clean and tight. Sometimes it can be as easy as that. Turn the key and look and listen carefully. Try to start the engine. Do you get absolutely nothing and no dash lights? Do you get dash lights which go off when you start the bike but you only get a quiet 'Click'? Do you get dash lights which go off and then a louder 'Clunk'? Does the engine turn over but it's very slow and lazy?
Absolutely nothing suggests a dead or totally flat battery and a lazy, slow starter is a low charge in the battery. A Quiet click could be the Starter Relay and a louder 'Clunk' could be the starter solenoid or the starter itself.

Why is all the interior lights starts blinking when key is turn on wont start

Electrical issue.I would imagine you cleaned the cable connectors that you attach to the battery. With the lights blinking, that sounds like a starter issue, but since its new,try replacing the battery cables themselves, double check your wires to the starter, make sure they are tight.Good Luck ! Thank You !

Car wont start or turn over battery, starter, sylinold, and fuses are good

this is the starter motor, locate the starter motor & whack it with a hammer a few times, try to start the car, if it struggles then whack the starter motor a few more times, this should solve your problem, I would advise however that before you attempt this procedure that your battery is at full voltage IE if its low, put it on charge for a day before you try this.

I replaced the starter and it still wont start

Make sure the battery is in new condition, charged up, and the terminals are clean and shiny when removed from the battery.

Hi my car runs for so long then when we stop sometimes it starts then somtimes it wont it wouldn't start yesterday and wont start today We have put a new battery on it .Been told it could be the fuel pump

I have a similar problem - been told it is either the alarm immobiliser or the starter motor brushes expanding when hot and preventing a good contact. When engine cools, then it will start.

Somtimes wont start wiggle battery connections it starts sometimes what should i look for

What you need to do is get a battery post cleaner from checkers etc. clean the posts on the battery (ask the parts guy to give you a short demo) and clean your battery + and - connections. Be careful not to touch anything to the connections or it can spark and cause damage. After everything is clean reconnect the connections and tighten them pretty good. Now your battery should charge better and your car should start consistently. If not you made need a new battery. Good Luck
