SOURCE: 2000 Yamaha R6 leaking gas - coming out of winter

this is a carb model yes? if you stored bike with fuel tap on then it could be your carb floats stuck. there is nowhere on the engine itself that gas would be going. is it dripping from the tank? fuel petcock? fuel pump (probably under the tank) ethanol in gas can completely screw up pumps.

if it's a carb problem shut off gas, remove aircleaner let fuel in carbs evaporate for a week. get some Berrymans B12 spray carb cleaner and get a bunch of it in there, it will break down the gum/varnish from the gas. also get Berrymans B12 fuel additive and put some in the tank. re-assemble and see how it goes.

SOURCE: oil leak from the front of the motor

Its funny you should mention this but yes, I had its bigger brother the GS 850 G , same problem, Apparently, in my situation I did the same thing and went to the shop and let those butchers make it worse !!!, the way i found my leak was by washing the motor with a grease and oil cleaner , strayed the whole motor and wash it all off totally, then I turn her on and let her get to operating temp went for a few mile and came back and checked it, for me it was the head gasket   the guys put on and i forced them to do it again,  I found out later that it was common with the suzi's of that model and ended up doing it myself, I used the original gasket and used a compound called gasket goo and it never leaked through out the 8 years i had it . But before you do anything , surly they gave you warrant y on the work so take it back and demand they do it properly.
Cheers and ride safe

Where is the gearbox oil container in a 2003 yamaha r6?

There is only one oil fill on a r6 - it is next to where you put your right foot on the bike in the engine case.

Need a new motor for my 2005 Yamaha r6....I was driving and out of nowhere it blew a hole in the front left side of my motor a leaked all my oil

Try a local Yamaha bike wrecker (cheaper) or go to a dealer (expensive) in either before doing that just Google it and see who has one or you can also look in eBay under motorcycle.
The other part is if you find a second hand one, either you know how to install it or get one bike garage to install it for you. Good? Return a comment please, thanks.

Find a rebuild kit for 2000 Yamaha YZF R6

your best bet it to order back threw the dealer, but they should offer some kits for the bike threw after-market company's like partsunlimited, lp "lockhart Phillips", and maybe tucker rocky street, at a better price but you may have to buy some parts extra it may not come in a complete kit like the factory offers.

Oil

Make the bike stand vertical....Look on the right side of the engine toward the bottom. There should be a window to see the oil level....also the marked lines...between them.
