Why is gas dripping/runnng out bottom overflow line of carb?

Could be one of the carb floats is stuck or the rollover caused it to come off its mounting position. As fuel enters the carb, the float rises with the fuel level until it reaches a position that shuts off any more fuel entering the float chamber and prevents an overflow. Fuel level drops, float drops and fuel flows again. Basically like the cistern in a toilet.

My bike is kicking but wont start and it only kicks when i hold my hand over the carb what could it be

By holding your hand over the mouth of the carb, you restrict the engines ability to obtain air thus making it work a little harder to suck air and fuel into the engine. This would in essence be the same as choking your engine which also restricts air and make the engine suck in more fuel. Sounds like there may be something in your carb restricting your engine from obtaining fuel the needed fuel to run. I\'ve had a little success using injector cleaner in the fuel to clear up some varnish deposits left from letting an engine set for awhile but if it won\'t run at all your best bet if you are getting good fire is to clean the carb making sure all small valves are clean and free of any contaminants.

I have a 1985 honda atc 125M it shuts off for no reason

Sometimes Honda ATC's wont idle if the exhaust valve is too tight. Check and clean the slow circuit of the carburetor this should fix the other part of the idling problem. A carb gasket set from Honda should have all the components you need to properly seal the carb. Lastly, buy a new carb float needle this should stop the dripping unless you have damaged the drain screw on the bottom of the bowl. This can only be purchased as part of the complete bowl assembly. If you still are having problems after this, try adding an additional fuel filter between the tank and fuel petcock, just in case tank rust is the cause of the needle sticking open and dripping.

Ltz 250 wont idle needs full choke to run.cleaned carb all jets new diaphrams. cleaned air filter and all hoses. backfires and hesitates half and full throttle.

hi,sounds to me like the air fuel ratio is all up the ***,locate the air/fuel screw on the carb(normally on the side)screw the screw right in untill it stops, then back the screw out 1.5 turns, this should get the bike to run without the choke, once you have the bike running simply turn the screw in or out untill the bike settles into a nice steady idle, should be good to go,hope this helps...cheers

31cc MTD garden tiller. Runs on idle at setting 1. Killed quickly when setting moved to 2. Has sat empty for a month. Gas used to mix w oil was from a can that has been in the shed for 2 months. As the...

Using some carb and choke cleaner try cleaning the carb. It could be that you have some varnish or built up crude in there. When you get it running on setting 1 give it a little shot of cleaner. It might stall out but just restart it. You might have to do this a few times but it should help. If that does not help I would take the carb off and give it a good cleaning. You might have to rebuild the carb also.

Good luck.
