Tip & How-To about Motorcycles
I have found that by pulling the spark plug cap part way off of a fouled spark plug, so that the spark has to jump about 1/4" from the electrical contact inside the plug cap, to the end of the spark plug has the effect of raising the voltage to the spark plug considerably. Usually it's enough to cause a fouled spark plug to begin functioning normally again. It doesn't work in every instance - but you've got nothing to lose by trying it.
