Hoping Cycle Country's reply is to the nre 250 and not the 110 prob. CCs Mod says: Since all seems ok untill you turn the key then the1st place to check would be the ignition with your Ohms meter and if your getting power there then go on to check the coil then to cdi. This is assuming that theres not an alarm system or any other accessorie, if there is-they can be bypassed. CCs best wished to ya and may the Lord(or whomever yourhigher powermay be) grantyou patients...your gonna need it.

2005 Yamaha Bruin 350 ATV. What will cause my ATV not to run? Gas is coming from drain tube?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from motorcycles to ATV model category.

Turning over has nothing to do with the carburetor! Your battery is flat. It will need charging.

If the carb is leaking, it is because the float is set wrong or the float valve needle isn't seating properly.

Engines only need three things to run.

A supply of clean fresh fuel (not sitting a year)
A Spark at the right time.
Compression.

You say you cleaned the carb **in** carb cleaner, as opposed to *with* carb cleaner. Did you strip it down, check the float for holes, clean the jets and needles?

1988 Polaris Trail Boss 250 4x4 ATV won't start?

Question edited for clarity, plus full make model (what it is).
Question moved to our only Polaris Trail Boss category.

That is a lot of stuff to change all in one go. One of those items has caused the issue in what was presumably a running ATV? Always best to swap out one item as a time and check everything runs as expected before moving onto the next, checking after each replacement.

The last sentence is confusing even with my edit. I take it you mean it turns over, it catches the odd time, but won't run. In that scenario, and with all the parts you changed, I would check the spark plug gap and that it has a good fat, blue spark. The other thing is the carburetor settings as per the service manual. Engines only need fuel, compression and a spark at the right time.

I have a hy-bird atv 250cc air cooled i just replaced the wire loom the stator and carb now i get spark it gets fuel but wont do nothing help

Check that the flywheel is locked in the correct position.
There should be a woodruff key to position it in the correct place.

My tomahawk 110 atv will not start. I have rebuilt carb , replaced spark plug and it cranked and ran fine until I opened it full throttle and then it started sputtering and diedand now Iit will not re

You need three things to make any gas engine run, in this order double check make sure you have proper timing set, spark and fuel. Could be bad gas or a bad ground from motor to frame.

Where is the spark plug located

Turn off the fuel tap the spark plug should be on the motor has a thick wire going to it, remove the plug and move the wire away from the hole to avoid a fire then crank engine over to push all the fuel out of the cyl, then fit a new plug .connect wire and see if it starts then turn fuel back on.

Taotao atv

check for a micro switch under the seat, on the foot brake system
indicates that by starting when pulling the wire you are breaking a ground circuit that stops it from working

I have an atv that won't start.

Could be your starter, solenoid, or even a fuel pump/clogged lines or filters

1996 Polaris Sportsman 400 Will Not Start

If your atv has been sitting this long, the carb is probably stopped up internally... take the carb to a qualified professional and have it cleaned and set...(take a few pictures so you know where all the hoses re-attach)

ALL it takes for an engine to run is:
1. A timed spark
2. Adequate compression
3. Proper fuel/air ratio delivered
