This might be as simple as checking for vaccuum leaks in th e air hoses, sounds to me like when the revs drop the vaccuum stalls the car. However, could b thee resistor in the distributer. Check timing, there could be a number of reasons, low fuel pressure, plug gap, point gap, blocked fuel filter, idle stop solonoid on carby. Hope this helps, check those vaccuum lines. Good luck

What the problem when my car is idle at a red light and if its idle for a while it kills what is the problem .u can smell when its about to kill it burns rich

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

I strongly suggest that you replace the MAF (mass air flow) sensor. If the MAF is faulty you'll have vacuum irregularities. Go for the oxygen sensor too. It controls the air and fuel mixture too, one good reason why you smell rich fuel burning.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

1988 Chev half ton kills battery. Put in new battery and starts right away. Ran it for about 20min then shut it off. Tried to restart and battery is completely dead. Needs boost to restart.

Have your starting system checked for starter draw.If the starter is drawing to many amps it will draw the battery down very quickly. Also have your charging system load tested to make sure the alternator is charging properly.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Why did Honda stop making the EV Plus car

Because Honda thought, by making the Ev plus car, they would make more money, but they didn't. Because the car was so pricey. It costed around $53,000. come on, whose' going to pay 50k for a car. And to matters worse, you couldn't really buy the car full, not even if your where a rich person, the car was available to buy through lease. And one reason why they stop making them because the oil company's felt threat, so they killed the car before it growed . That's why they stop making them, Because the oil company's know, they where going to succeed. So that's what happen. Go see the movie called Who Killed the Electric Car? They talk about the car in the movie.
