Clicking is a sing of a week battery or battery connection..

Charge it and check the connections and it should be better..

Okay, You need to check the safeties.Usually this is the brake/clutch and the PTO switches. Also you need to check your ignition switch and wiring.

It would be a good idea to get a copy of your mower's wiring diagram to go by.

Finally check your starter soleniod between the battery and the starter and look for fuses and check them out in the process
