start engine from cold...slacken pinch bolt...turn shaft a quarter turn each way with a screwdriver...listen to the noise your engine makes and find the quietest spot...tighten pinch bolt
There are bound to be marks for a key item like this. Go online to a Kawa forum or manual. Failing that look up a workshop manual which you should really have given you have the engine in bits.
If your speedometer is broken then your AWD will not work. You can do 2 things
1. Replace the Speedometer
2. Remove the 6 pin plug from your speedometer
On the plug, short the brown/Brown White wires together and
tape it up good.
Do not reconnect the plug.
You will lose the function of the speedometer but your AWD will work.
Hi ...... You need to support the bike level (front paddock stand) and undo one side pinch bolt then using the hex adapter for that side unscrew anticlockwise ..................... I cant remember whether it's a 15mm or 17mm. The front spindle is threaded both sides. Support wheel & pull spindle out. Assembly is reverse but you have to make sure speedo drive is engaged correctly prior to tightening up.
