SOURCE: Cannot remove the seat
seat latches often use a sliding tab & latch, your key is the 'handle'of the tab.spray lubricant into key hole and on latch behind assembly.you may have to wiggle seat up and down as well, use your 'spare' key in case you have to ride it to the dealer,or a locksmith!

Testimonial: "Right on - thanks"
roadstar seats remove from the key switch, turn left "without" pushing down on the lock cylinder, and you will hear the seat release from the front of the drivers pad.

SOURCE: hood release wont latch
This maybe a problem of the hood being misaligned. in order to remedy this you will have to adjust the 4 bolts on the hinges holding the hood in place and the latch little by little. But first try a penetrating oil on the latch assembly and look for anything out of place.
