Ccmrotax604startergear is not turning over motor

Hi, Mike the starter drive/Bendix is a mechanical gear driven component that engages the clutch pack ring gear to turn over the engine. It has an internal mechanism that allows the gear to turn in one direction and once the engine starts allows the drive gear to free spin. If gear free spins in both directions then the drive gear has failed it is not serviceable and needs to be replaced. Hi, Andygarypott for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. My check engine light is on and I received code P1135, Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering is the defintion of the code. What parts do I need to get to fix problem myself?

Not sure where you got that definition for that code but this is what it is and means with possible causes for whichever motor you have:

Trouble Code: P1135 (2.4L L4 VIN - Auto)
A/F Sensor-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction Print this code dataprint_icon_codes.gif
Number of Trips to Set Code: 2
OBD II Monitor Type: CCM Details
Indicators: MIL Details
Trouble Code Conditions:
Engine started, engine running, and the PCM detected the A/F Sensor-11 (A/FS-11) heater current was less than 0.25A, or that it was more than 8.0A at anytime during the CCM test.

Possible Causes:
  • A/F sensor heater circuit or ground circuit is open
  • A/F sensor heater power circuit is open
  • A/F sensor heater is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
