I just bought the bike a month ago and everything was fine. the other day its starts backfiring on downshifting, so I do a service on it. changed plugs, oil filter and changed oil. I screwed up because I thought the oil drained from the filter so I over filled it bigtime. I drove it to work and still no change. I took off the air filter cover and there was alot of oil in the air filter and breather. Did i really mess something up here? I figure I'll have to adjust the air/fuel mix but did I blow a seal or something?
Buddy dont worry about it what you have done is put to much oil inside the engine and as the piston goes down it cause abit off pressure which in the small space it has when you over filled it the pressure inside has just forced the oil out the breather into the air box just give it a little clean and drop oil aswell bud
Testimonial: "Thats Great news. Yup just like you said I drained all the oil, put in the right amount & cleaned the intake chamber and its running great now.THANKS!"

It is different then most other carbs. DON"T DRILL ANY BRASS HEADS LOOKING FOR THE AIR FUEL MIXTURE. The air fuel mixture is the only adjustment you can make. It is located on the bottom side of the air intake, right behind the air filter box. It looks like a 1/4" flat metal plug. Do NOT drill this. There is no slot for a screw driver. There is a tool which is no more then a small piece of pipe that fits over this plug and you turn it in till seated, gently. Count the turns. Back out to 2 and a half turns, thats normal. Or if you no that you need more fuel injected, simply turn the screw OUT 1/4 or 1/2 turn and try it. GOOD LUCK (Its not hard)
There is no drilling to be done. Hope i didnt scew something up on mine......
