2006 Honda Shadow Aero starts but won't idle.

2006 Honda Shadow starts with choke just fine, but stalls out as soon as I push the choke in or opens the throttle. Was running fine the last time I rode it three weeks ago.

Check fuel level, u may need to check the flow of petrol to it,,Also if that does not solve you may need to service the carb and check fuel filter, air filter etc...

2001 Honda shadow 600 When I turn it on with the choke out its fine but as soon I push the choke in it dies

is it warmed up enough, Hondas are cold blooded. is the idle circuit clean and allowing the proper amount of fuel to flow as this sounds like the problem with it dying when the choke is pushed off.

2006 Honda 750cc Shadow Aero starts with choke, runs for a minute, sputters and stalls. Won't start again for a couple of days, then starts right up. Electrical?

Hi there
I once had a wee car, whenever it got too much petrol inside itself it refused to go anywhere and had to rest for some time and you had to be very careful with the choke and the petrol so it did not swallow too much of it and need another rest.

I just bought a 1999 Honda Aero and it did not come with an owner manual. Where is the choke on this bike. Is there any free down loads with "getting started" on the Honda Aero/shadow of this...

The choke is on your left hand handle bar, it is the black slide down lever. 1. Push the lever inward to choke the bike 2. give the throttle two turns and start the bike. ( do this so you don't drain your battery, even with a new battery you need give the bike the gas to start or you will have to recharge the battery) You will hear the engine change pitch when it warms up, push the choke upwards and the bike should idle on its own.

AERO 750 STALLS EVEN AFTER WARMUP - IDLE LOW ?

The idle is a great place to start. If you have a normal bike with no engine mods ie exhaust, jet work then you need to screw the idle screw all the way in, then back it out 2 and a half turns.
