Sounds like the regulator/rectifier may be goiing bad. This is the motorcycle equivalent of a cars alternator. have it checked/tested by a professionl or yourself if you know how to do it.

I am trying to figure out the color for the wires on my 1992 Suzuki katana 600 for my new headlight bucket and for some reason the front ones won't work but back ones Doo and they blink fast is there any...

Are you working on turn signals or head light? Blinkers going too far because there isn't enough of a load on the circuit. Burnt bulb in the front, or a wire not hooked up, maybe that's why they don't work and the back are going real fast. If you are putting in LED bulbs, without a resistor thwy qill not load the flaher enough either, and it will flash very quickly. As for color of the wire, usually you can Google wire diagrams for specific vehicles.

Suzuki katana ay50 treg my front and rear light went off put in new bulbs and they blew

Check the battery voltage when the engine is running. It sounds as if the regulator has failed. Also check the earth lines on the bike and make sure they are tight and clean.

Brake light problems

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Almost always, your described problem indicates a loose or no ground connection of the brake light socket (most likely) or missing IGN + 12 (least likely). If the turn signals and/or the fuel gauge works, then the latter is unlikely as they share the same IGN+12 supply line. These might interest you:
  • a wiring diagram for the 89-95 GSX600F is available here;
  • a service manual for a GSX600F is here. Pls verify year compatibility.
Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.

Please, I need to know what kind of oil and the quantity is neccesary for the suzuki motorbike GSXF 600 of the year 1992. thanks a lot.

I have a 92 katana and I think it takes 5w but I'm not sure. It does say what weight to use right on the cap, clean it up and check me before adding anything.
