May be the oil/gas mix try using high octane gas ,or replace the plugs, some times they get fouled easy on a 4 stroke

Engine number cq1p57qmj 040f0083 need a starting motor this engine is 150cc in a dragon quad bike

I would try pulling the starter motor apart first (sorry if you don't have one or have already done this) they are pretty basic and a bit of emery over the commutator can get you a bit more service out of it, also check the brushes, you can get them roughly the same size, electric drills, grinders etc (a little bigger is best) and then use a fine file or emery paper to get them down to the size you need, (a lot cheaper than original parts).

Bike runs for a short time then dies

I would say lack of fuel. Choke or enricher not working properly. Motor needs retimed.the fact it started means ur getting spark. Weather or not at the right time. Try a shot of brake kleen down bore&try again. If it starts right up the timing is close, if it dies again, ur not getting enough gas.

Cardstock won't feed

You need to hand feed these things.....one at a time. I sometimes find that I have to "help" it a little bit to get it feed by putting just a bit of pressure on the paper to push it into the feeder. Another trick is to make sure the front edge is turned up just a bit. (I usually take about 10-15 pieces of cardstock and roll them, and then feed them one at a time) that seems to work pretty well, too

Iv got a 2005 yz 250 stock whats the best way to hot it up

hot it up? you mean make it go faster ? wow it's a realy quick bike right out of the box if the bike seems to be lacking power easy check is the air filter ...pristeen like so clean you would eat off it? 2005 ...when was the last time the top end was done ? about every 30 hrs for a two stroke half of that if you are racing it by racing I mean getting on a motocross track and riding with other guys about your skill level till you have arm pump that makes you wish you had stayed home. if the above conditions have been met then a pipe is probably your most logical choice don't wast time and money on the engine making it high compression and needing race fuel 100++ octane is a total waste for all but the elite riders and it makes the bike unreliable and fussy "like a hot blonde pretty to look at but high maintence" Good Luck & Ride safe

What's a good XB Stand?

but no one seems to know what I need.  Is there a certain model I need to look for?  I'm pretty new at this but I know that Pit Bull has some good stuff I just don't know which one's will fit.Pretty sure a universal will work, worst case scenario, take your bike to the bike parts store and see if they have a display model you can use to see if it fits your bike.,,,
