Hi my 99 CBR 900 RR looses power at around 4500 rpm. Becomes sluggish and refuses to accelerate. Think it could be battery related. Any advice would be appreciated.

It shouldn't if the battery holds a charge and is fully charged. You can pull headlight fuse to test during the day, but this may be ******* in your state and can get you a ticket. It is most likely a fuel or valve leakage, adjustment problem.

I had an 07, I had to remove the lower and side fairings and then the bolts are visible, dont just lift it up because wires and the fuel line will be connected and tight. When you lift it, lift easily so you dont just rip everything, you should be able to lift it high enough to disconect the wires without damage.
