Possible bad batteries not taking a charge
dirty /loose battery terminals will do that also

Remove the battery and use a wire brush to clean up the battery poles, and all of the connections. Also, find the bolt that connects the ground wire, the negative wire to the frame of the ATV and remove it and clean it all up as well. You most likely have a poor contact at one of these locations.

SOURCE: battery keeps loosing charge- kymco cruiser 125, 2005

I had this exact same problem on a hipster 125, it was a faulty regulator module ( mounted under the seat) I also found a short circuit (somewhere) in the wiring loom between the regulator output and the chassis (probably what killed the regulator in the first place!) I cut and replaced the entire wire to save removing most of the loom and after testing reg to ensure it was dead i fitted a new one (about £60) bike charges and runs like a dream now even with fully lights approx 80% of the time. good luck

Getting my bmw f 650 sg ready for the road after winter, charged the battery and installed it but when I turn the ignition on I get a sickly buzzing sound, but the motor will not turn over

probably your battery cant take a full charge or has a few cells not working hook up another car so you can use jumper leads to start your car ( I am sure someone you know has them ?) that way you can get your car running etc but it is still possible that your battery can not take a full charge or is faulty under load , and should be easy to answer this question after you start it and give it a good run for a hour or two , and park it over night , if it makes the ticking sound ( this is a normal flat battery noise)when you try to start it the next day and it will not turn over the motor your battery is stuffed

Kymco mongoose 250 won't start

Remove battery terminals and clean both posts and terminals
with sandpaper until you see shiny metal. The black coating is lead sulphate which has a high resistance to current flow both into and out of the battery. Have a load test done on the battery also as a cell may have dies while you were riding and the bike was running on the alternator.

Battery died but when opened up to check battery there is a ticking sound

Yes one of the relays could be draining the battery.
I would open the fuse and relay boxes and try to find where the noise is coming from. If it is a relay, pull it out and see if the noise stops.

1996 Sebring died-but flashing light & ticking from steering col.

If your battery cables are corroded, I'm talking inside the casing , your battery is running the car and not getting much charge back from the alternator. The least expensive, but time consuming thing to do is replace both battery cables. Try this before any major repairs.
