90 ranger. Will not start when temp outside reaches 85 degrees. Otherwise it is amazing. Changed fuel pump, starter, thermostat and something else. Sounds like not getting fuel.

Look at the "cold start sensor".
I have had problems with that on several cars in the last 10 years.
This part, about the size of your thumb, screws into the the engine block, and has a single wire attached to it.
It is identical in appearance to the engine temperature sensor that instructs the electric fan to turn on.
The difference is, this sensor is attached to the computer, and when it fails, it tells the computer wrong information causing hard starting. God bless your efforts.

On a kia Sedona where is the fuel temp sensor and how do you get access to it

the fuel temp sensor is located on the fuel pump inside the gas tank. under the left second row seat there is a carpet flap once you pull that up you'll see a black plate with 4 screws. remove the screws to gain access to the fuel pump. you'll need to disconnect the fuel line with a dealer only special disconnect tool. then you can remove the screws that hold the fuel pump to the tank. and pull out the fuel pump to gain access to the temp sensor.

Can someone tell me where the fuel sensors r located on the 4.3 engine...1995 blazer?

it in the computer. there is no manual adjustment for the fuel mixture on a fuel injected engine. It all runs on the computer. there is a fuel pressure regulater on the fuel rail where it goes into the injectors, and it will have a small vacum line on it .. it will be a small quarter to half dollar size round thing with the vacum line coming from it and will have two small bolts or screws holding it on. But I think you will have more problems then that.. visit your local garage for a diagnostics test/.

Sitting for while pulled carbys apart washed cleaned reset mix screws 2 half turns, up size exhaust with reverse condes on now, back firing on deconpression.

sounds like your running lean. start with your main jet/needle adj. make sure the bike is pulling hard the WHOLE way to red. after you have that you can work the pilot jet and air fuel screw. Now do you have your air fuel screws 2 half turns out from dead bottom make it one full turn, or 2 full turns and one half from dead bottom. if you have not installed a jet kit there is where you need to start. and please dont forget to sync your carbs when your done.
If you can give me the jet sizes, needle settings and air/fuel screw setting. and we will get this worked out

My car burns gas very fast. where is the 02 sensor located? do i need a calib cabreter?

02 sensors are located in the exhaust the upstream ones are close to the engine in the rear exhaust manifold (for 6 cylinders) and at the front exhaust (for 4 cylinder). The downstream ones are behind the catalytic converter. Check to make sure the fuel pressure regulator on the to of the engine isn't leaking. Replace the air and fuel filter could be plugged. Check the coolant level in both the rad and the reservoir they are notorious for intake manifold and head gasket leaks for 6 cylinders. There aren't many calibration updates for this vehicle relating to fuel consumption.

How to replace fuel filter for xmw x5 d 2003?

Changing the fuel filter on an early X5 3.0 diesel is dead easy even for a novice
Pop the bonnet
The Fuel Filter is a round soft drink can size unit. Look for the main black plastic air inlet thing leading to the top left of engine bay (on your right as you face the engine) leads to a mini radiator looking think which is a fuel cooler, the fuel filter is the silver can thing right behind that..
Disconnect with a phillips head screw driver the two flexible fuel leads, unclip with your thumb and forefinger the plastic sensor,
loosen with an Allen/Hex key the side clamp and slide vertically up and out. The hex key needed is one of the larger common sizes in any hex key set from any spare parts store. Reverse the above to fit the new one. turn key On for a few moments while the pump charges the filter, check for leaks and you are away.
Its easy and should be done every 3 or 4 oil filter changes

Where is the idle control sensor? Idles low/high at a stop like its searching to find a happy medium almost killing the engine. I found the idle air control motor behind the fuel rail next to the fire...

Have you try adjusting the idle air control (mixture ) screw, sit close to the air duct on the throttle body, there will be a small screw in a hole flat head might have a plastic cap over it, turn till it idles where you want it.

Where is the fuel filter on a x5 diesel

Its under the bonnet, Pop the bonnet, as you stand facing the engine its up high on your right, the cars left side. its found by following the black plastic air intake to a mini radiator sort of thing which is the fuel cooler. the Fuel filter is the silver, soft drink can sized thing just behind that mini radiator thing. Its clamped around by a clamp which is tightened by an Allen key/Hex head thing, which is a common size in any set you would buy from any auto store. use a Phillips head screw driver to loosen the two flexible fuel lines and disconnect them. Unclip the plastic sensor from the top of the filter with thumb and fore finger and slide the old filter up and out. Reverse to replace. When everything is redone turn the key to the on position while the pump primes the filter and check for leaks. These should be done every 3-4 oil changes. Happy motoring!

Our ford bronco will not run new fuel relay, fuel punp works, new spark plugs, new filters, changed oil, we have spark, and compresion no fuel

Check to see if you have a Throttle Position Sensor. This would be on the Airhorn and works with the throttle butterfly. It is about the size of a butane lighter and has 1 electric connector and 2 screws.

This part sets the spark and fuel for the throttle position.
