SOURCE: I have a 100cc 2 stroke quad I think its a Adly

check for external air intake leak between the inlet boot and head. it sounds like you are experiencing a "lean" condition in the fuel system.

Shoprider ECHO 3-Wheel Mobility Scooter. The driven wheels turn for a second, but then clicks out.

Question edited for a lot more clarity.
Question moved from Cars and Trucks to Make model category.

Is it tripping the breaker? If so it is likely an issue with the motors or the controller.

Circuit Breaker (Reset Button)
Your scooter is fitted with the latest in electronic controls that are programmed to protect
the electrical system from abnormal overloads. Provided for extra protection is a circuit
breaker, located on the battery pack. Should there be a situation where your scooter stops
for no apparent reason, please check that the circuit breaker has not popped.
NOTE: To preserve battery charge, your scooter may go into sleep mode after being idle for
a few minutes. To remove from sleep mode, turn the scooter switch off and back on again.
Check List
If your scooter fails to operate, please check the following:
• Unit is switched on.
• Drive/Freewheel mechanism is in the drive position.
• All plugs and connectors are clean and firmly connected.
• Battery level shows full charge.
If the free wheel device has been operated with the scooter switched on, then the scooter
will not operate until the ignition key has been switched off and then on again.
Please consult your dealer if your scooter does not run after checking these points.

My rascal scooter was making a wining noise now it wont go

Hi, Firstly disconnect the batteries and let the scooter dry out,

1. Does the scooter now turn on ? once batteries have been reconnected.

2. The wining noise was coming from the rear ?, if so firstly check the wheels are okay can be turned around, now the noise was most likely coming from the motor or gearbox, can it turned round in free-wheel okay , this will prove that the gear is not jammed etc...

Please update me on the situation.

Is there a battery replacement for my L4 that will give me a longer running time?

There isn't room onboad for bigger batteries. But you can cheat by constructing a two wheeled trailer just big enough to hold two more batteries they can be as big as you want. When the on-board batteries get low flip a switch and your running on out-board batteries. Be sure the trailor is conntructed to be as lite weight as possible. you can buy trailers for scooter. I did it the lazy way, I wired my external batteries directly to my internal battery terminals due to amp loading. If they are lets say 50amp to your 15amp on- board batteries you are going to go way more miles than with15amp batteries. WARNING this setup you don't hook fully charged big batteries into discharged small. batteries. I don't let my on-board batteries get to discharged. I've spliced into the main battery terminal lines..so that they are thick enough to handle the amp load which are 12 gage. I also have a 50 amp connector between the external scooter and the trailer for quick disconnect
