2) According to where you live in the world, decide the coldest temperature you ever have .
If it is about 30 degrees Fahrenheit or more, likely a 10W - 30 will serve you well.
However, if you have temperatures much colder than that, I should recommend a 5W - 30 or a 5W - 20 oil.

the stuff it came with is just fine. your bike shop where you buy the oil from will give you what they deem best for your bike, oil weights depend on where you are and ride. a K&N airfilter will help it breath better than the standard one but it wont do much for the performance. i have jardine pipes on mine i believe it was re-jetted when the previous owner installed them but i run a standard air cleaner and all is fine.

Calls for 10w30. Any brand mc specific oil will do, along with any of the more expensive brands. If you need to go cheap, buy Type F (only)automatic transmission fluid. Change as soon as oil looks dark.
