Hi, I have a 1991 FZR600 3he model. Its been prepped for the track but i want to put on the road. It needs indicators for the MOT. I have found the wiring plus connectors for the rear indicators and the front right hand side but cannot find the wiring/connector for the left hand front side. There is a block connector (male) with a green and black/chocolate wire going into it but also a blue and red wire. Could this be what im looking for and if so what do I do with the blue and red wire.

1: make sure all track connections are tight. 2: clean the track using a Green 3M scratch pad or a track eraser. 3: clean your wheels, some people use smoke fluid on a cloth, I use alcohol prep pads,. A track eraser can also be used. there are commercial wire brush cleaners that connect to your power source.
Hi, to me the problem sounds like the track rod ends need replacing these are what connects the steering to the hub now when you turn the wheel the track rod ends push the hubs in the way you want to turn but what happens ball joint on the track rod end get play in it is it allows the wheels to turn slightly on their own left and right now once these have been replaced you will have no problems. if the ball joints where to break you would lose control of the car as the steering wheel would not turn the wheels as instructed and they would be free to turn any way they liked, this would cause damage to the front wings and the hub costing a fortune to put right, but as it stands the track rod ends cost very little to buy and dont cost much to get replaced.
how ever this isnt the kind of job you can do yourself as you would need to get the tracking set up to ensure the wheels are driving in a strait line as their is adjusters that need to be set up after the track rod ends are fitted.
once you have the track rod ends ( tie rods also known as) fitted you will have no further problems and you will then be in full control of your vehicle it will feel a lot more responsive to your control so this needs doing sooner rather than later.
we had a similar problem last year . When we took it for MOT it was found to have broken rear suspension spring. rattle noise stopped once it was replaced. This year MOT same problem with spring on other side of car!!!
Your oil pan where you normally drain the oil when changing it IS the crankcase. I would also drain any gas from the fuel tank(s) and put fresh gas in it, and you will probably need a new battery.
The plastic strip in the window regulator track broke. It is replaceable by a qualified tech or if you are pretty handy. you can go to the dealer and get the strip. remove the door inner panel and expose the regulator and window by removing the clear plastic (put this back in when reassembling or you will hear alot of road noise and have trouble keeping heat in in the winter). if you can't get the part you can at least out the mindow up now and wedge something in it so you can get somewhere at least if it's raining out. When you get the parts from the dealer they can show you how it goes in as it is hard to explain but I will if you need me to. Good luck.
