1983 Suzuki DR125 wiring diagram have spark when i kick over engine ,but only one spark until i stop and crank it again then one spark

Used a drill to rotate eng. there is spark at very low rpm,good spark as soon as rpm gets to about 200 spark goes away,tried coil,tried trigger sensor,still same,checked mag.output good until 200rpm ,however with trigger sensor disconnected,mag output stays good even at higher rpm

Check for a short, or partially broken wire between CDI and coil. If your wiring is goodbetween there, check between CDI and pick up.

I would be thinking that there is a good chance that you need to be checking out replacing the computer, if you aren't getting any communication with the proper scan tool then the computer isn't communicating with anything in the vehicle...... I would have guessed first off that the ignition control module might be bad but that is obviously part of the computer also, I would be looking in that direction.

The PCM is located in the rear right corner of the engine compartment, sticking to the firewall:

The PCM can be replaced with a new or used god-working one. In both cases the PCM must be reprogrammed using a Tech 2 tool that costs about $3000. The operation is done at the garage.

The PCM is unlikely causing misfire on a single cylinder. Check wires going to spark plugs. If the coil is getting no 12V on the ignition side check ignition. It is strange that one coil has no power, the engine usually does not start when that happens because the same coil gives power to spark plugs on different cylinders.

Check if there is a capacitor fixed to the head aside the coil (there should be one). It should be cylindrical and one inch long, held by a single screw and located aside the coil. If there is a capacitor, that must be replaced with the coil. If you have not replaced the capacitor that is probably involved in the problem.

If you have already replaced crankshaft position sensor, check crankshaft position sensor harness in PCM. I uploaded here the bulletin with CKPS to PCM testing:2003 Taurus CKPK PCM testing.

Test the PCM and CKPS connectors. Check again voltage to coils and spark plug cables. I understood that spark plug cable nr.3 has no spark from coil. Check DC in from ignition to coil.

Why would my Suzuki Swift stall @ stop sign & not start again after replacing thermostat?

overheated it? 98 swift, (which of 7 engines is it)
how can temp run perfect on a no start engine?
ok you meant before the stall. got it.
seems to me it cranks robustly , right.
so spark is next, got spark to all cylinders>.?
(we are USA and all USA cars this year scan with any scan tool made) so scan it.
scan before cranking then crank and scan. for 5 seconds cranking
the scan tool will tell you why it is not making spark or fuel.

if you have spark test fuel testing works, if that works , that means.
you have fueling loss or flooding, did you check for flooding
or crank wide open throttle to clear flood >?

test fuel will run any good engine for 3 seconds. per test.
100 years we do that.
test fuen in can, or put gas in spray bottle.

seems wire was disconnected at the service of thermostat
so look for loose wires. and connectors at engine

double posted ANON.
welll it was answered all ready.

what does turn over mean.
wont crank
or cranks perfectly but will not start
we can guess that, ever. must be said.
and check fuses?
check for spark yet?
did it over heat engine, , NO ? if NO, then the thermostat is not it.
did you knock off wires or connectors doing this service?
did you burp all air from the cooling loop, or just slam it and and hope it works.? this the first drain an fill ever? of an engine for you ?

No spark to engine 1991 ford pickup

It can be faulty or dirty spark plug itselfd.Also for reference get the fuel level checked.Is the fuel tank is empty or near to empty.
Try cleaning the spark plugs and then see if that is helpin.On some cases the black carbon layer gets collected on the spark plugs and that causes the problem,so cleaning the plugs help.But if its not helping,then spark plug has to be replaced.Spark plugs get power from ignition coil to ignite sparks.If ignitioncoils are faulty then also there will no spark.--------------

I have replaced the battery and ignition unit on my 1985 suzuki 700 es, the bike really sounds like it wants to run but wont start. Starter turns but engine won't kick over. Any Ideas?

Is it getting gas properly? Has it been sitting around for a while? The carburators on motorcycles need to cleaned after sitting around. The jet could be full of varnish. Are you getting spark for sure? Pull out a spark plug and put it in the wire, crank it over and see if the spark plug sparks. When you pulled the plug was it wet at all with gas? Then it probably isn't getting gas right. Just some of the things you could try.

My Suzuki VL1500 cranks but really struggles to start!

When was the last time the valves were adjusted? Valve adjustment affects more than compression but vacuum as well and should be checked... A lot of rider never check it until they have a problem like this, and it gets worse when it is colder outside.

check the spark plugs better replace them make sure they are to the specs of the engine of yr bike.
You may have to clean the carbs too!

I need a wiring diagram for an 83 crown victoria starter coil

if you turn the key and the engine spins but doesnt fire try checking the timing for it to make spark at the time you need it to ,if it's out it wont catch and run or check for spark at the spark plug make sure it has spark use a dummy sparkplug in the boot and hold it on a ground and crank engine look for a blueish spark and if you have bare hands holding it you'll get a good jolt (insulated pliers)
