The FI light is letting you know there is a problem with the Fuel Injection system on the bike. You will most likely need to take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it with their computer. You can check your fuses and make sure they are intact, but most likely dealership problem.

F1 light is on and bike won't start, what do you think the problem would be?

All questions need FULL 'year make model' as the first 3 words in all questions, or we guess.

The FI light is the equivalent of a CEL in your car. The ECU has detected an abnormality with one of the sensors, check the code and see what's up. Yes what he said...you will need a service manual to guide you through it.

My Kawasaki zx6r 2009 keeps displaying f1 and with a flashing red light. The bike runs fine. Sometimes shuts off while warming up. how do I fix it?

it actually means fault indicator and doesn't deal solely with the fuel injection.

put the key in the ignition and turn it on, but don't start the bike. use the mode button to go to the odometer display, then hold the mode button down for 2 seconds. the code should be displayed.

come back when you have the code

Bike back fires and the f1 light comes on on the cluster panel as well as bike dies

The F1 light is the FI fuel injection light. Your bike needs to be diagnosed and scanned by your dealer or trusted mechanic. There is a problem with your fuel system and a code has been registered, your bike won't start or run correctly until your mechanic has scanned, fixed and cleared the code.

Suzuki gsxr k6 600 fuel injectors problems The F1 light has come on when I started the bike up it alternates between the temp and F1 I have not started the bike in a while 1 month

The display is really FI as in Fuel Injection. The fuel injection computer has sensed a fault in the Injection system. You will need to ride the bike to a dealer and have them read the fault codes. It is probably just something minor. Major faults will not allow the bike to run. You will not hurt the bike if you ride it.

F1 light

it's not an F1 light it's an FI light for fuel injection. is it a full exhaust installed on the bike or just a slip on? may need a power commander to balance it all out.

F1 light on and red light blinking, wont start

I was at the local race shop in Milton Fl getting new rear tire and the owner of the shop took it for a spin to scuff the tire. When he got back he said he got the F1 code. He plugged a short wire looking thing into a plug under the seat. Took it to code machine and got c-11 code. which is cam position sensor I think he said. but he said he had never seen that error code before. I think the F1 blinking light indicates an error only. You have to have it analyzed with the bike running and code blinking to diagnose the exact issue. Ive got the same bike pictured above and I have been getting error codes pretty much since I bought it brand new in 08. It doesnt seem to affect anything tho, the bike runs normally. Mine usually comes on everytime I start it when its cold. but I can let it run a few seconds then restart it and most of the time the light will not come back on for the rest of my ride. Every now and then it will come on while riding. So I dont know if I'm getting more codes than the C-11 that came up for dude at bike shop or not. I should have taken mine in to have it looked at but never did cuz the bike runs normal as far as i can tell. Annoying as hell though when it comes on at night.

Bike cuts out after 15secs

Hi,
The F1 display is an indication that one or more of your sensors are indicating a fault. Your bike is equipped with an ECM module that records and stores all fault issues. Unfortunately, only dealers and bike repair shops have the special readers to diagnose your issue. If you take it to a bike repair shop, ask to make sure they have the reader. Otherwise, it could cost you more in the long run by them trying to track it down by trial and error.
I wish I had a quick fix for you, but it looks like a trip to the dealer is in order.
Hope this helps
