Bajaj Platina: when I drive for long distances engine sometimes suddenly makes a high pitched sound as if decompressor is working and I had to throttle down and bring the speed down to 20 to 30 kmph for a while and the sound stops. Again I can throttle up to 60 but after a while again the same problem.
Any clues?
It would be practically impossible to diagnose the issue without checking it personally. Check for the following though
1. check if the noise comes on even when the bike is revved in neutral and at the same RPM
2. check if the noise is accompanied by vibrations even if you pull the clutch at the same speed.
3. check engine mounts
AND CHECK THE LEVEL OF ENGINE OIL
Sure...there is problem related to ur bikes engine..
look at the engine oil...
ur engine consists of crankshaft. gear box, clutches, engine bore, piston, etc
plx get it to nearest bajaj showroo as soon as possible to avoid greater damage.
thank u.
SOURCE: my bajaj platina is making noise when i start
indicator dont work well and will some day worand broken.
SOURCE: there is an very awkward
sounds like tranny problem/ and a bit of carb trouble i suggest clean the carbs/clean the tank....put some seafoam in the oil drive about a mile then change the oil don't dive any farther than that with seafoam in the oil or the clutch might burn out (seafoam is at any auto store 8-10 bucks does awesome things)
