How to bench sync 1977 GS750 throttle slide height

The baseline throttle slide height for a Suzuki GS750 motorcycle should be set so that the slides are fully closed when the throttle grip is in the closed position. This means that when you twist the grip fully counterclockwise to the stop, the slides should be flush with the carburetor body.
To adjust the throttle slide height, you will need to remove the carburetors from the bike and use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the bottom of the slide and the carburetor body.
It is important to make sure the throttle cables are properly adjusted before setting the throttle slide height. The throttle cables should be adjusted so that the throttle grip moves the slides smoothly and the grip is in the closed position when the slides are fully closed.
It is also important to keep in mind that the carburetors on a Suzuki GS750 motorcycle should be synchronized after adjusting the throttle slide height. This ensures that all carburetors open and close at the same time and at the same rate, which is necessary for proper engine performance.
Please note that this is a general explanation and the specific process may vary depending on the year or model of your Suzuki GS750 motorcycle. It's recommended to consult the service manual for your specific bike for detailed instructions on adjusting the throttle slide height and synchronizing the carburetors.

How do I tune up carburators on a suzuki gsx-600f?

If by "tune up" you mean synchronize, you'll need a carburetor synchronizing tool first. They are either fluid based, mechanical manometer ones or electronic. Search for "carburetor synchronizer". You'll need to take the tank off and hook up a temporary fuel supply (rig it up or buy an external tank). For oil cooled engines like your GSXR/Katana/Bandit that have no fan you will also need a strong external fan to cool it.

This engine has four carburetors and they are synchronized in pairs. Small Philips head screws are located between the carbs. Hook up the sync tool to the vacuum nipples on the carbs. Hook up the external tank. Warm up the engine. Using the idle adjustment knob, raise the engine speed to recommended rpm. Using a screwdriver, adjust so that cylinders 1 and 2 are on the same level (the exact level does not matter). Do the same for 3+4. At last, use the middle screw to eliminate the difference between left (1-2) and right (3-4) pairs.

That's pretty much it. A cursory search on Katana specific forums or Google will yield plenty of more detailed instructions and videos. This is an easy job. The hardest part is hooking everything up, but even that is hard to do wrong.

How much work is it to fix the synchronizer in my 1991 F250 5speed transmission & how much would it cost?

The synchronizers are pretty cheap if you find a used dealer, but I have rebuilt 5 speeds and usually one problem leads to many others. some of the main gears, if they are damaged can be very expensive and hard to find. If you rebuild make sure you replace most or all bearings for they are usually what causes failure in the first place

MY 1984 GL1200 HONDA .NEED TO KNOW WHAT ORDER I STHE CARBS IN LIKE #1 #2 #3 #4. WHICH CARB IS THE ONE TO SYNCHRONIZE TO. THANKS.

The right side rear carburetor has no adjustment. Keep adjusting your idle to 1000 pm. Synchronize the to right carburetors to each other. Synchronize the two left carburetors to each other . Then synchronize the left bank to the right bank. You may have to do it more than once. Be sure to keep adjusting the idle back to 1000 rpm.

NOISE IN CLUTCH OR GEARBOX ON RIGHT SIDE OF CRANKCASE.

Synchronize the carburetors. Carburetors that are out of synchronization will cause the clutch and primary chain to rattle.

sounds like the idle circuit in two of the carbs are plugged up or the carburetors need synchronization
