SOURCE: 1999 vstar 650, no power, stalling out at idle.

have you checked the carb for dirt ?
sounds like the carb is dirty and or the idle screw has moved

Testimonial: "I pulled the carbs off, removwed float bowl cover, found one of the jets was clogged. All good now!!!!!"

SOURCE: I have a yamaha vstar xvs 650. there is a noise in

Try tapping the spokes, if one is loose you'll know it. Check the oil in your driveshaft head.
Picking the Star up to get the wheel off the ground is a chore but you (and a few strong friends) might have to do just that to investigate the noise more fully. With the wheel in the air you can wiggle and listen.
BTW, are you sure it isn't the rear caliper?

SOURCE: NEED TO REPLACE REAR TIRE YAMHA VSTAR 650 2000

A service manual is a valuable tool with an aging bike. I suggest the dealer/mfr. or Clymer books. In the meantime, go to the library reference section...646 stacks should have what you need.

SOURCE: 02 Yamaha xvs 650 dragstar classic that misfires when it warms up

First I would change all the spark plugs, and if that didn't make a difference then it sounds like the coil(s) are warming up and breaking down........when it starts to skip take a good pair of pliers with good rubber on them and pull each spark plug wire, when you get to the one that the running doesn't change then I would replace that particular coil

2000 650 vstar with hardkrome pipes and hypercharger. What would be the proper main jet and pilot jet sizes

Use a DYNAJET kit & go with the directions. Or check with the Hypercharger manufacture for correct jetting. But you will still need different needles & main jets for those pipes.

My bike hasnt been ridden for a few months, and you need to give it full choke to start and keep it going, it wont idle when the choke is depressed, It is A Vstar 650 Classic

was fuel left in the carburetors when you parked it your metering jets might be slightly clogged with varnish i dont recomend opening them yourself take it to a professional and next time you park it for an extended period of time close the fuel valve and leave the bike running until the carbs run out of gas "the bike will stop running when this happens"

Fork fluid

If there is no fluid on the fork legs or the wheel the fluid very likely isn't leaking and is OK.
If there is fluid the fork legs need servicing at which time the fluid will be drained and replaced.
