It is a manual gearbox, you need a new clutch, as the plates are slipping. Usually you get a bit of notice, but once they go, the clutch plates slip, heat up and glaze fast.
Hi,it sounds from what you are saying that you have got a inturnal falt with the gearbox,im affried the only way to make a propper diagnoses is to take it apart and look at the gear sincros there has to be worn bearings,or teeth on the gears,or the sellector,or something has just manidged to come loose.
I wish you all thhe best.
It sounds like the primary drive chain is loose. The way I adjust mine is to take off the upper left inspection cover, start the bike and slowly tighten the adjuster until it starts to wine, then back off until it stops. Rev it slowly and listen for a wine. No wine good to go.
Hi, here is my opinion: 1) your planetary, or attachment hub is making the noise as it goes around, and there is grease in the gear ring that keeps it lubricated, it may be as simple as removing the planetary grease ring ( the chrome ring), and taking loose the bolt and lowering off the hub and cleaning the old grease, and installing new, reassemble in reverse. You may also have bad bearings in the shaft portion of the planetary ( the shaft your attachments go onto) allowing the shaft to "wobble" a little bit causing a slight misalignment as the smaller gear goes around while mixing. How far you want to go is up to you. For your other problem, I have seen the brass clutch bearings stick on the main shaft in the transmission, causing the planetary to momentarily speed up, or to maintain a wrong speed ( 2nd or 3rd) when set to first, but that would require full disassembly of the transmission. Best left to someone who has done it before, but if your inclined, go for it, but get a part breakdown first, or take pics as you go. Hope at least some of that helps, and thank you.
