SOURCE: How long does a lamp/bulb of a Toshiba DLP 46HM95 46 in last?

Your bulb may be blowing because of airflow issues or power cycling issues, first does your outlet get switched off at any point in time? if so you may be killing the bulb before it cools, if you turn the set on/off alot and or restart it after off quickly this could lead to permature bulb failure, if the original lamp was not replaced with a proper lamp to match the ballast it could blow the bulb. If your tv is too near a heat vent or the airflow thru the set is not adequate it could blow the bulb.

It could be. The car seems to be flooding its self as though you are driving on the choke all the time. Replace the air filter if dirty and clean all the breather pipes. Also check the accelerator cable is not snagged and is adjusted correctly.

SOURCE: Engine cutting out when open throttle. YAMAHA NEOS 50cc MOPED

i had a simuler problem with my honda cr 250 moto-x bike it would start fine and you could keep it ticking over with the throttle(i have deliberatly unscrewed the tickover in case i come off,it will cut out) when i got on it,it would go for about 400-500 metres then splutter and die and not start again for around 5 mins. i immediatly knew it was a fueling problem. so after stripping the carb and giving it a good clean out i was baffled when i got back on and it still done the same. i then dismantled the fuel tap cleaned it all out and put it back together and tested it,it was very very slow so i unsrewed my fuel cap a little and was greated with the familur gush it should deliver. problem solved! the vent in my fuel cap had crystalised up,so the fuel was coming out but the air was not getting in,causing a vacuum and slowing down the flow and basically emptying the carb quicker than it can fill back up!!! clean your carb, fuel tap and any vents in your cap or tank. if this does not work then your bike must be over fueling or low on compression.

How do I fix an Kymco Agility 50 motor scooter that doesn't start?

Question edited for clarity, changed 'carbonator', (a thing that puts bubbles in soda) to a carburetor (a device that atomises gasoline).

The new battery is fine, in fact 6 amps is better. It has more staying power and will start the bike easier in cold weather. It is better for your lighting as well. The problem is likely to be that your battery is not fully charged when you got it. Put it on a 2 amp battery charger for 8 hours.

These two adverts have 4 amp and 7 amp as suitable.

Replace regulator/rectifier with a different brand?

Not always necessary to change the regulator/rectifier. Check all connections to make sure they are clean, use a good contact cleaner and finish off with dielectric grease on your electrical connections.
When some bikes get a few years on them the connections get dirty. Check to see if there are any burned or discolored wires anywhere around the regulator. The FIX on some bikes is to cut the connector completely out and solder the wires together and either seal them with heat shrink of a good electrical tape. Loose or bad connections get hot. As long as the regulator and rectifier are working there is no need to replace them if the connections are good.

No spark from CDI Unit. bike is Bug Jive 50. Motor cut out while riding, checked all obvious things, lights OK, Battery Ok

Replace the magneto/stator, CDI and voltage regulator/rectifier. Usually if one messes up they all go bad.

My 2002 Troy Bilt 18 hp garden tractor has a voltage spike which burns out the light headlight bulbs. Actually, we received this tractor as a donation for sale at a charity auction. It needed a few repairs...

Locate and replace the voltage rectifier this is a voltage limiter than can go bad, trace the wire that comes out of the motor's shroud it should go to a small box that then has a wire that leads to the battery this small box will be the voltage regulator or rectifier they are similar devices, replacing this box should solve the problem however before replacing the light bulbs again after replacing the regulator or rectifier hook up a voltage regulator to the positive terminal of the battery while the tractor is running at a high rpm or engine speed, if the voltage reads higher than 14 volts the light bulbs will burn out again but this is a simplistic electrical system and the voltage rectifier or regulator restricts the voltage from exceeding 14 volts so replacing it should do the trick.
