I am trying to locate the AIS system on my 2008 yamaha stratoliner so that I may plug it. I have installed via the Yamaha dealer some Cobra pipes(dragsters) a power commander III and a big air kit breather. I am not happy with the popping sound I get on decel. Most forums with the same problems find their solution in the disconnecting of the AIS..I am new to this and am not sure what I am looking for or where.

There is no AIS (Air Injection System) on the stratoliner. The power commander needs remapping to fix backfire on decel.

The AIS system is usually on the left side of the bike.
Although this is for a Yamaha 1100 custom it should give you an idea what to look for.

Good luck!
Hope this Helps!
