Initially, have you checked the 30A main fuse? It would be inside the starter relay. To locate the starter relay, follow the cable from the battery's + terminal.

99 cbr 1100 wont start

do a compreshion test on the engine as the backfire could have been the head gasket poping if the gasket has blown it will never start

I have a new battery but when I press the start button nothing !

you have a lazy starter this is your problem but you can recondition any starter cutting the cost down hope this helps?
