Losing drive while driving up inclines and while trying to make sharp turns

If its losing engine power, then I'd say you have water in your carburettor. Drain the tank, if it's a carburettor with a primer then drain the tank and prime it and drain again.
If the engine is running fine but it's losing power to the blades or wheels then it's a belt tension problem. Try tensioning the belts or replacing bushings or pulleys, or even the belts themselves as they can have a tendency to wear on the sides and don't grip properly so they slip. Hope this helps

Drive belt tension shaking mercury mastique

Just because you replace hose, this should not have overheated engine. You need new automatic tensioner pulley.

Because you overheat, you need to have a pressure test done, you could have warped the heads.

Replace tensioner, get pressure test, make sure coolant level is right, check to make sure fan's come on when engine reaches temp after thermostat opens. Now after all test check ok, belt not slipping, see if you still lose power.

Loses power on uphill

try checking out the high tension leads, coil packs and plugs since there is a pedal rev mismatch then you may also think of the MAF. I had a similar problem myself but I discovered a worn out tension lead No 2 and also cleaned the MAF and the problem was solved

Tension not correct

Just set the tension on the bobbin casing but very little at a time, to much and you will never get it wright again. Then also try the tension at the top after adjusting the bobbin casings tension.
