The check engine light on my 2012 Yamaha V Star 950 came on today and showed code 24. What's the problem?

SOURCE: 2003 Mercury Sable gas cap light stays on!

make sure that the gas cap have a rubber gasket in it if it has accidentaly dropped off while you removed to fill the tnk it will not seal properly and create a vacum leak causing the ecm to turn on the light.

or did you have an accident or did you run over any thing that could have damaged the vapor canister at the bottom of the vehicle and if this is the case you will see the light on because a damaged canister can cause a vacum leak

THERE MUST BE A SENSOR PROBLEM YOU NEED TO CONNTACT A DEALER AND FIND OUT WHAT THE CODE REPRESENTS

SOURCE: start motor , no oil pressure showing on guage ,

i would find and replace the oil pressure sending unit although oil pressure is ok the computer needs to know or else it will shut down engine and it seems like your oil pres. sending unit is starting to stick.

Dodge 2001 Caravan....check all the wiring hhorness for all the injectors they always melt....and possibly yu will need a nes ecm...i have fix two caravans with the same codes and both had to have the injector wires replace with the ecm....good luck
