Is it trying to fire? Does it turn over on the button but fails to spark up or does pressing the button have no effect on the system? If nothing happening when you press the starter then it could be a few things. The button may be faulty, the starter relay may be faulty or the starter itself may be the problem. Make sure the fuses are all okay, all connections are secure and the battery is fully charged. Follow the positive, red cable from the battery and you should find the starter relay. With the ignition turned on, use a screwdriver and short across the 2 terminals on the relay. Do not touch the frame with the screwdriver and only try for a short time. Does the engine turn over or even start running? If it does I would suspect the relay or the starter button. If it doesn't then maybe the starter motor is at fault. This is not always the reason but in my experience it is the most common.
