Why does my 2007 Kawasaki ZX6r boggs down at high RPM. After changing the fuel pump and filter it ran great for about 30 miles. Then it wouldn't go past 65 mph. Now it will not go past 45 mph.

Engine bogging past 6000 rpm. Already changed plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel line, air filter. Cleaned injectors and fuel rails.

SOURCE: It cuts out at high rpm but the plug is fine.

Pull the spark plug. If the porcelain cone is whitish then change the main jet to a higher number i.e.. 178 original main jet changes to a 180 or a 182 if needed.

If the porcelain cone is blackish or sooty then change to a lower number i. e. 178 down to a 175 or 172.

SOURCE: I have 02 zzr 1200 went out to drive it to work

have you checked the breather in the petrol tank
if its blocked it can cause this problem as the petrol gets vapour locked.

2001 zx6r I was on reserve and added gas but left on reserve. about two miles down the road the bike acts like it ran out of gas, flipped fuel to 'On' but no change. would not start. it would try to...

Let the bike sit for a bit, try and restart it first. This sounds like you just flooded it. Post again if the problem persists and I can assist you with some further actions.

My 1999 nomand is leaking fuel from the carb. I have had the needle valve replaced, cleaned carb, cleaned the choke cable assembly. It ran fine and idle like it should for a while (hundreds of miles)....

Unfortunately you will need to go through the carb clean ritual again, as something is causing the float to not shut off the fuel. Might pay to put an inline filter in the fuel line, to help it from happenimg again.

Engine wants to bogg down after 3rd gear

it sounds like you need to richen up your system. are you sure you have the clip in the right position. 4th from top or 4th from bottom? if it's in the correct position, try adjusting you mixture screw to allow for either more fuel or less air.

Iol pressure lite on kawasaki zx6r f1

Did you cahnge the filter also? Have you ran the motor to build pressure and fill the oil filter. The light should go out when the oil gets pumped threw the filter and engine.

The engine boggs down at high rpm. For instance, hesitates and boggs down when going up a hill or highway speeds. Idles normally and runs fine at low speeds.

if the fuel filter hasn't been changed do so, if the fuel filter is ok and has been changed out due to this problem you will need to monitor the fuel pressure under a load and make sure it doesn't drop below 45 PSI, it it does you will need to replace the fuel pump and the fuel filter. U also do say if you have a check engine light or have had the system tested for trouble codes that may be triggered by this loss of power problem.
