Remove the riders seat and you'll see two bolts at the back of the tank...each side panel will need to be unclipped as they attach to the tank also.
Once done, the tank should be able to be slid backwards and lifted...just be careful of the fuel lines etc

SOURCE: removal of fuel tank to change spark plug

There should be a bolt towards the bottom of the tank. You will have to remove Your seat to see it. Undo the bolt and slide it out. Shut off the (petcock) fuel valve first. You don't need to take off the fuel line. There should be 2 other hoses under it aswell. You may need to reconnect them if they come off.

SOURCE: 1998 suzuki gsxr750 fuel pump inop after replacing filter

You cannot bleed the fuel injection system.Test the pump alone (not on the bike) for sufficient fuel supply. Also check the fuel pump relay.
If all that is ok next time you try to crank the engine (only with kill switch on, the fuel pump primes up) with lifted tank and opened air box, spray a bit of carb cleaner spray towards the throttle bodies. It will help.

Katana Suzuki fuel line diagram?1990 rf 600

Here is a general fuel line diagram for a 1990 Suzuki RF 600 Katana:
  1. Fuel tank: The fuel tank holds the gasoline and is typically located on top of the motorcycle frame.
  2. Fuel petcock: The fuel petcock is a valve located on the bottom of the fuel tank that controls the flow of gasoline to the engine.
  3. Fuel filter: The fuel filter is located between the fuel tank and the carburetors and helps to remove impurities from the gasoline.
  4. Fuel lines: The fuel lines connect the fuel tank, petcock, fuel filter, and carburetors together in a specific sequence.
  5. Carburetors: The carburetors mix the gasoline with air and deliver the mixture to the engine cylinders for combustion.
The exact fuel line routing and connections may vary depending on the specific model and year of the Suzuki RF 600 Katana, so it is important to refer to the owner's manual or a detailed service manual for accurate information. Additionally, any modifications or repairs to the fuel system should be done by a qualified technician to avoid damage to the motorcycle or injury to the rider.

Is there a fuel shut off for a 2005 gsxr750

there is no fuel shut off valve, it's automatic. when you disconnect the fuel line the only fuel that drips out is whatever is left in the line. just remember if you have a full tank of gas, when you remove it ,set it as level as possible so gas doesn't drip out of the overflow located under the cap that prevents over filling.

Gsxr750 wp..cutting out after a few miles and then nightmare to restart...when it does its very lumpy and sounds like its on 1 or 2 cylinders...it then cuts out again.....if its left for an hour or so it...

yes, seems like fuel issue, check fuel tank filter, gas cap(for venting) any inline fuel filters, and if all those are good you will need to remove carb bowls and check for contamination.plz rate-bozcro

Suzuki gsxr750 slingshot 89 K just overhauled carbs rough tick over stalls can i adjust mixture/air high revs no prob

You should be able to drill out the A/F caps on the mixture screws if they are still in place. It sounds like you still have a blocked pilot jet circuit though if it runs well at higher revs when the main jet takes over.
