My peugeot satelis 125 has a small amout of oil leaking from the drain plug bolt, I would really like to try and fix this myself how would i go about doing that?

Get a new seal - that's probably the faulty part - drain the oil, replace the seal in the o-ring shaft, bolt it back tight and refill the oil ...or just ask any mechanic for advice, it's really simple to do ...

Find a piece of cheap string like kite string or package string. Not cord, it has to be string. Loosen the drain plug. Wind several turns of the string around the plug. Tighten the plug. This method is nice because you don' have to drain the oil. Good luck!

I agree if you just changed the pads it is likely air locked and you need to bleed the lines

Fuel problem first...have you any fuel in the tank? Silly question, but has to be considered. Is it fresh petrol?
Check spark plug, clean if possible, and check for sparks.
Check kill-switch too, along with side stand...is it up? The switch may be mucky so you could try cleaning it. Hope this helps.
