You have the unfortunate circumstance of having some serious electrical issues. What you are describuing sounds like several things got fried and power is going to thing that shouldn't be getting power. First thing is to go through all of your wiring under your dash and under the hood. Then check the wiring to your tranny as well. if all checks out then you need to verify power/no power to all the effected circuits and also what voltages. voltage to the coil may not neccessarily be 12 volts under all conditions. good luck.

Chevy beretta

I guess I'll start by saying a 22 yr old car could be reaching the end of its life, so I would keep the RPM under 3000 to help keep it on the road a little longer.
You did not say the plug wires have been replaced, and they could also cause the miss. Also, one of the coils or plugs could be faulty even if they have been replaced.
The check engine light is not on, right ?

How to test mass air flow sensor on 1992 jaguar vanden plas

If a spark has no path to discharge, it will often find a weak one or create one. If your wires or plugs are so bad that they cannot pass a spark, the coil will discharge elsewhere. It is a great coil. I have seen brand new plugs completely disable an engine. Completely. I have seen wires completely fail on their maiden voyage. The plugs were Champion BRF52 on a Ford, the wires were Belden for a V6 Mercury. I do not recommend Champion plugs, at all. I do however like Belden quality. You would not suspect them, but... Suspect them. Pull one out lay it on a steel part of the engine, and see if it sparks. If not, replace them. For wire, try to start the engine at night, watch in the dark for arcing wires. Replace them.

I have a 1992 Ford Ranger that runs perfect sometimes then will lose power and stall occaisionally. I done a complete tune-up, replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the injectors with two types cleaner and...

You haven't tuned anything. Tune-ups went away in 1980 with the introduction of electronics.
Fuel filter -filters fuel
Injector cleaner-waste of money,on some fords, it will remove the coating on pintle and is not recommended
TPS Sensor, was replaced after you tested it ,and found it defective?
Spark Plugs-ever hear of one failing. Never seen one fail in 47 years.

Have you considered the EGR Valve,Vacuum Leaks,Old O2 Sensors,again,test first,then replace,blocked converter?

I have no spark at the coil wire the engine quit while running at seventy the motor size is 3.0 litter

Have the coil checked to see if it went bad. Check for any loose connections between the distributor and coil and also at the coil itself and the batter.

1992 plymouth vayager no spark from coil

Voltage is applied across the coil primary only in brief pulses too short to light the typical troubleshooting light. The 2 seconds you are seeing it light is just before the coil is hit with pulses. After that brief span, voltage is applied and removed too quickly to detect that with a light.
If you are getting no spark, it is because this rapid application and removal of the voltage isn't happening at all. This can be caused by a failed ignition module or ECU. In your engine, there may also be a pulse transformer in the distributor that supplies signal to the coil instead of the pulse coming from the ECU. Pulse coils will normally measure from 6,000-12,000 ohms if they are still OK.

1995 ford probe

Since it's turning over and you smell gas you probably have a spark proble. Check spark at plugwires and work back to the coil by disconnecting the smaller 3 prong connector at the distributor. Check for 520-580 ohms between the 2 outer prongs on the dist. side.  If that is good pull the cap and inspect.  Check resistance from the inner of the 3 prongs and the coil by probing the hole where the cap penetrates the high tension lead.  No resistance = Bad coil. Replace dist.  NEXT Remove dist. marking the rotor position and the housing position in order to replace it the same spot.  Tun th rotor and you should hear 6 clicks per rotation. this is the injectores taking spark. If none then CK1 (or camshaft sensor) is likely bad. refer to manual for in depth and double checking the routine. A Disty is aroung $200-250  or 1,000 at dealer. Even after all these checks there is no guarantee as the probe is known to have some really tough spark issues. Particularly the 93. This info is for 93 2.5L 6cyl., but translates well for most any car. ICM (ignition control module) cannot be tested unless your parts house has a tester. Th eprobes have internal icm and coil (in the dist.).
Remember. You can jumper from gnd and 10 pin too pull codes.
All this can be found in a 15$ Haynes manual which pays for itself the first time you have issues.  Feel Free t oe-mail me - I have gone Waayyay past this with my 93.    [email protected]

No spark at spark plugs

Check to see that voltage is getting from the coil to the distributor and then to the spark plugs. You can use a VOM or Test Light (whatever you used to check power to the coil) to determine where you are losing spark.
Good luck.
