1990 Yamaha Virago 535 Parts interchangeable with 2001 virago 250

I have the 01 virago 250, found a bike for sale as parts bike...1990 virago 535.
I am looking at parts like brake pedal, fender, mirrors, hand brake etc. Not the engine.
Are the parts interchangeable between two bikes?

Sure mirrors, nuts, bolts and screws. Maybe a fender and a bit of other stuff. But for the most part not much will match up and now you have this ugly monster in your garage and your next job is to figure out exactly how you are going to get rid of the da-- thing. Look a bit harder and get a match for your bike. Now you have something worthwhile.

1990 yamaha virago 535 sat two years

If it is possible to start at all. Fresh fuel fresh engine oil good battery. You may have the following problems; Corroded and blocked carburetor fuel system, bad wire connections piston ring set up.... I hope it was kept indoors and the fuel was drained out before it was left sitting. Good luck, they are nice bikes.
