Check battery posts and connectors if they are clen an well connected, check battery if it holds charge.

This could be any number of things. First consider the most obvious. Change the rear spark plug. Then check the compression in the rear cylinder. If compression is low, it could be a valve sticking or a piston ring wore or a hole in cylinder. If compress is alright, rebuild carbs. I would check out options in a row. I don't think it could be a be the stator or regulator. But it could be. Those would need to be checked out by dealer. Hope tis helps.

Probably the bendix sticking

sounds like a stuck starter solinoid ! replace it !

Most manuals are found FREE online it just takes some patience and a few hours googling for it, failing that go to Haynes

eBay has the service manuals, and occasionally has an owner's manual. The dealer should be able to order one for you.

Personally, I'd opt for a service manual. Much more informative.

you have a short somewhere in the ignition system. check for wires touching metal, or chafed and touching each other. Get a manual, and follow the wiring diagram.
