Honda CRF250R , 2005 Very hard to start even when warmed up .

This Honda we have also is very hard to start takes way too many kick overs 30 or more, to get it to run seem,s we are missing something , bad plug and gas have tried a few things but with no success most times its not wort the hassle to take out as we always have to tow it home if it stalls as we all play out trying to kick it over nice bike but not worth the work to get it to run HELP?

Your carbeurator is gummed up. You could put a gasoline addivite in the tank to try and clean up the carbeurator. I have had success with several products at auto zone stores.

I have 2006 Honda CRF250R, after I changed the valves, first time it started with no problem, I turned it off let it sit for about 30 minutes and then I wanted to start the engine again but couldn't,

Sounds like this is the decompression lever area.. did you leave/forget something out?? This lever should have a cable connected to it... If you paid someone to do this... take it back!!

Starting problem with honda crf250r 09 model when cod or hot

I have a honda crf250 2009 model i recently brought it off a mate. Had the same problem could not get the thing started. Missed races cause of this... I worked out how to get it started. On Cold start, turn the fuel on give the throttle 3 full pumps. Then do not touch it! Put ur hand in the middle of the handlebars if need be. Kick start the bike still may take a couple kicks but on mine its generally about 2-4 kicks. Then through out the day when u want to start it do no twist that throttle it just squirts fuel in and u may as well just pack it up!! I know this is what i have to do not saying yours will be the same but i hope it all works out!!!
