Follow the turn signal's wires all the way from the hand switch to the relay to find where it is stripped and touches the chassis. Both wires are positive.Gauges and speedometer probably uses the same fuse with the turn signals so if it is blown the shouldn't work naturally.

NO turn signal or neutral light, no speedometer or horn working. Changed 10 amp fuses but they keep blowing?

10 amp fuse is small a few things that you can do. go to a 15 and turn every thing on snd see if it blows and how long. if it don't blow in 5 mins. your good if it does blow then you have a wire problem. if so. unplug every thing that has to do with that fuse. and plug 1 in at a time UNTIL the fuse blows. good luck.

Have a 2001 road king as soon as I turn on the ignition switch the 15A fuse for the horn turn signals brake light front fender marker light speedometer blows any help would be greatly appreciated I didn't...

you have a hot wire grounding out somewhere do the simple things first you may need a couple of fuses but it save you alot so you do not have to take it somewhere to get fixed , start with the horn ,usally it would be the fender light or brake light do them first , disconnect it then put the fuse back in and see if it blows , then so on to save some fuses take the bulbs out of the turn signals and put one back in at a time to see if it blows this is the best way and easiest way to find your short ,

I have a 1999 road king classic fuel injected. It keeps blowing the fuse that runs the turnsignals and the speedometer. Any suggestions

Isolate the speedo and see if it blows the fuse. If so, then you know it's something to do with the turn signals. Have you had a fender off or something like that lately? You might have pinched a wire. Some of the wires run between the fender strut and the fender itself and can get pinched without you knowing it if you've loosened and retightened a fender. You may have to take all the bulbs out of the turn signal units and then do a continuity test from the turn signal cancelling unit plug to ground in order to find the shorted wire.

Good Luck

Speedometer turn signal short 94 c1500

First I would go back and check out the turn signal switch to make sure you install that correctly. Look for shorts or wires that could be grounding out. Go to the library and getting a wiring diagram and find out everything that goes to that fuse. Also if the truck is rusty check all the body grounds. Good luck.

Speedometer and Blinkers don't work

Believe it or not but I think your hazzards are on a seperate fuse. If you had lost just your turn signals I would say probably a bad flasher but the speedometer is actually a little electric motor now, not a cable driven thing like years ago so it's probably just a fuse. Now, why did the fuse blow? Trailer wiring shorted? Corrosion near the tail lights? You been mudding it lately? Or maybe just a corroded tail light socket. Check all your lights afterwards. Hope this helps

2003 v92 c keeps blowing the headlamp/speedometer/turn signal/horn fuse when ever I take off. I think it's something to do with the speedometer since it's fine until I move.

Sounds like a short circuit in your speed-o-meter electrics, trace it with an ohmmeter

Speedo, turn signals, brake lights, horn stopped working. All else is fine.

Gap your plugs to 38 thou. Check all your bulbs (one burned out will affect the rest) Take a look at all your fuses and make sure they are all ok. Otherwise you are probably looking at a wiring short which will require trouble shooting of the elctrical system. Buy your self a service manual for your bike, this will help you a lot.
