YZ 125 isn't getting fuel into it's cylinder

My YZ125 isn't getting fuel into it's cylinder from the carb. It cranks over and wants to fire. The plug is getting spark, it has a brand new top end. I brought the carb to my buddy who works on bikes and my carb is working, but the bike won't draw the mixture into it's cylinder. I'm at my wits end and am about to bring it to a shop to have it looked at. I just want to ride it.

Everything is working as it should. the bowl fills up doesn't leak, all the jets are clear i cleaned them myself and blew them out with compressed air and the bike doesn't air through the wrong way and it still refuses to pull gas into it's cylinder. I managed to get it to start up and then it died it did it three times and then stopped getting gas into the cylinder again.

Check the carb bowl and make sure it is filling if so check the carb jets and also check the power/reed valves.

Recheck the power/reed valves and carb again as this is the only things that will prevent gas going into the cylinder

Oil is a grey colour in the engine of my yz 125 2001

Your bike is water cooled. Some of that water is leaking into the gear box. The cylinder gasket is the likely leak. I would let the shop take a look at it instead of trying to fix it yourself.

But be sure there is not an external source for the water. Do you wash the bike often? Ride the creek bed often? Leave the bike where the lawn sprinkler gets the bike wet? Leave it out in the rain? Change the oil and keep the bike dry. If the problem comes back then go see the dealer.
