the car not going into reveres has nothing to do with the smased rear but it may have bent the gear linkage or it could need to be adjusted,,,if the gear box was jolted hard,,,as for parts look on the net for car parts/brakers there are lots of them selling parts
or find a brakers yard near you who are braking you type of car up,,second hand parts are a lot cheaper than new parts

well ill try im assuming it shuts off you can try the catalatic convertor and maybee the fuel pressure make sure there is enough pressure to run it at factory specs and if the cat. is clogged that will limit your power and im assuming that you have no excelleration even in lower gears correct

Have you tried keep pressing the right hand button down. When you press the button down and hold the press, then the sounds are finished, the trains starts driving. When you release the button the train stops at once.

Shifting Fork may be bent or wore out, It also may be the Synchronizer that "holds" it in gear went bad. The Gear could be wore out or Warpped also.

Best thing for you would be to call in a pro as a TV set IS NOT the place to be experimenting around inside of.
