Schwinn 250 Units setting

replace the batteries by new ones. and clean the contacts batteries very well.
2) adjust the Reed switch, see the diagram, test for open or fulty, clean it, and tight the conector v. well.
However you must to back to the display are small orifice, Use the point o eraser pens, and click the small switch for to change. the Km or miles or vice. versa.

This is so you can set it, just set or reset the time on the clock and it will stop flashing, same thing with the km,move from km to miles and back, if you want km then set to km but if you want miles then go to miles but you must select through it, good day.

8 km equells 5 miles so always multiply or divide accordingly i.e 40 km divide by 8 equells 25 miles (5 x 5) (5 eights into 40) just reverse for miles to Km. ok

Switching from Miles to Kilometers

Use the driver information center to change your settings. The switch that controls it is located on the dashboard just left of the steering column. If you have your owners manual, it gives a detailed description of how to change it.
